In 1961 Umhlali Country Club was established as a 9 hole course, some years later and under the skillful hand of Peter Matkovich, the course was redesigned and a 2nd nine holes were added.
Since 2006 both the course and the club have been totally transformed by a very successful facelift (still under Peters’ watchful eye) and the results speak for themselves.
General Manager Chris Andrews heads up the club and staff compliment.
Duard Nel manages golf and is assisted by Geoff Hind and Richard Woolfe in the bookings office. Glynis Hunter will assist you with membership, group bookings and functions.
Michelle Witthoft and Hazel Van Niekerk run the accounts department. Roy Gounden and his team in the bar are standing by with frosty ales. Greenkeeper Robin Naicker and his team keep the course and surrounds in showroom condition.
