BP SPONSORED TRIPS BOWLING DAY

The annual BP Sponsored Tabs-in Trips was once again a resounding success. 66 Bowlers competed and a great day was had by all bedraggled and drenched players who braved the last few ends in the pouring rain.

First Place went to Ian Masson, Aubrey Dwyer and Linda Nel.
Second Place to Johm Raldao, Devi Reddy and Neil Millican.
3rd spot was won by Maureen Schneeberger, Judy Blaauw and Peter Thomas.
And 4th place was taken by Steff Dahlmann, Barbara Millican and Peter Helman.
The first Session prize went to Mike Hulett and team,
Second Session Phillip Thomas and team
Third Session to Nic Lambros and his team

Mal Barret thanked the sponsors for their support over the years and hoped that the sponsorship would continue to be an event on the Umhlali Bowls Annual Calendar.
Yolande and Hans van Heerden, ever gracious sponsors presented the prizes and thanking Umhlali Bowlers for their continued support at the BP Service station.

Note – With the new footwear evident on the lady bowlers lately it is wondered if we will soon see them in ballet points and treated to some tutus as well. That should get the guys blood pressure up!
