Bowls - Sports

The Club has 2 A+ competition greens recognized by Bowls South Africa for national competitions. The greens were named after past members Hackland and Schlanders who contributed to the maintenance and construction thereof.

The Club hosts a Bowls Clinic operated by Jill Hackland (Springbok) and a group of bowlers who undertake to coach and assist new and seasoned bowlers.

During the 2007 renovation the clubhouse verandah was extended and closed in and a bar was built to accommodate the increase in membership.

2011 saw the Umhlali League A team elevated from 2nd Division to 1st Division in the District Port Natal. The B Team hangs onto 7th position.
